The dynamic duo play lovers and medical students who decide to get kicks by partaking in risky experiments to see what happens in the afterlife. Ellen's character Courtney decides it would be a great idea to have her heart topped for one minute, before being brought back to life. She approaches James' character Jamie in a canteen, telling him, 'Do you want to have fun with me later?'No doubt he is surprised when he is lured to an MRI machine for what is just the first in a string of risky experiments. They also end up roping in some friends, played by Diego Luna, Nina Dobrev and Kiersey Clemons to partake in the fun. But is it all a hallucination?

Perhaps the whole moment is a construct of Ellen's character's dying brain after having her heart stopped.
